Effective Fluorescence Detection of Hydrazine and the Photocatalytic Degradation of Rhodamine B Dye Using CdO-ZnO Nanocomposites

CdO-ZnO nanocomposites were synthesized using a simple solution approach, and several characterization approaches used to examine the morphological, structural, phase, vibrational, optical, compositional properties of these nanocomposites. The FESEM study revealed development aggregates ranging in size from 250 nm 500 nm. These composed various nanoparticle shapes sizes. XRD investigation hexagonal wurtzite cubic phases ZnO CdO, respectively. crystal was 28.06 band-gap energy produced calculated UV-Vis analysis determined be 2.55 eV. employed as promising material for effective fluorescence detection hydrazine quicker photocatalytic degradation Rhodamine B (RhB) dye. Within 120 min UV light exposure, RhB dye 87.0% degraded presence process followed zero-order pseudo-first-order kinetics. Based on 3? IUPAC criteria, limit fluorescent sensing 28.01 µM. According results presented here, may function both photocatalyst breakdown organic pollutants well an luminous sensor harmful analytes.
